Fotor Website

You probably noticed that you have received a new light blue banner image on your LinkedIn account. Now what?

Here is a free and easy to use website, www.fotor.com, to create your own branded banner for LinkedIn Company Pages, Twitter, Facebook, About.me and your other social sites. Before you create a new banner image think about how you want to present your brand.

Fotor is an all-in-one online photo editor. You can use text, stickers, or frames to edit your blurry pictures. Add text to a blurry image to highlight your theme. Add a photo frame to your blurry image to decorate your photo and make it even more meaningful. We're sorry but edit doesn't work properly without JavaScript enabled. Please enable it to continue.

When I work with my clients we discuss what images would best represent their brand. Some clients are executives, authors, speakers, sales leaders or marketers that have launched brands, authored books and have been on national media. We first curate all of the images that they have, or we create new ones that showcase what they want to highlight.

TIP: I change my banner image each day based on the presentation that I'm giving or client that I'm speaking to. I also add positive quotes each Friday. I consider LinkedIn a 'flashing digital billboard' and I have a lot of fun with the images.

Here are 10 easy steps on how to create a branded banner image for your LinkedIn profile.

Step 1: Go to www.fotor.com

Step 2: Click on Make A Collage

Step 3: Click on the word Cover (click the arrows next to Collage), click on the Cover that you desire. NOTE: there is no Cover for the new personal LinkedIn profiles, so I use the Twitter Cover.

Step 4: A box will pop us and Click No to saving the current format

Step 5: Click the down arrow to upload your images (upload all images that you desire from your pictures, computer, Dropbox, Facebook, etc.)

Step 6: Drag one image over to the banner, adjust the image size

Step 7: Drag other images, one at a time and size each image to the banner size (I find that a total of 3 images works best. It's fussy to get the picture the right size so just enjoy playing)

Step 8: When you like the banner, Click the file icon

Step 9: Look to the left and click 'Highest' resolution, Click Save to My Computer, which saves to your pictures

Step 10: Go to your LinkedIn Profile, click Edit Profile, Click on the banner upload area and upload the Fotor banner from your pictures, or saved location, adjust the image and click save.

Enjoy creating new banner images for your online profiles. Viewers will enjoy looking at your profile images. Yassuo twitch rivals makes girl cry. William Arruda, in his Forbes article, has a list of additional websites that you might enjoy playing with to create banner backs. I like www.fotor.com, it's fast, easy and free.
